Hair Stylist

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hair styling, cosmetology, and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional hair care services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
  • Comfortable in haircuts for both men and women
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitize all tools and work areas to ensure a safe environment for clients
  • Upsell salon products and services to clients
  • Perform front desk duties such as greeting clients, answering phone calls, and handling transactions
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and techniques
  • Nice to have : Offer additional services such as barbering, eyelash extensions, and other beauty treatments

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of previous work
  • Proficiency in color theory and various hair coloring techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote salon products and services
  • Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Experience:

Hair styling: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

Barbering License (Preferred)

Cosmetology License (Required)
