The Cinta Aveda Institute is a state- of- the art Cosmetology and Esthiology academy located in San Jose's right across from the San Pedro Square Market. As a member of the internationally- renowned Aveda Institute network, we provide premium experience for our students while remaining committed to environmental sustainability. The students will receive extraordinary one on one attention and learn both technical skill and business- building strategies necessary to succeed in the beauty industry which is provided by their instructors. Cinta Aveda Institute is currently seeking a part- time Esthetics educator. We are looking for professionals who are career minded and want to work for a company that expects excellence and invest in the success of its employees. Must be inspired to coach and motivate students in this growing and evolving industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Explain, demonstrate and instruct the Cinta Aveda Institute methodology and terminology
  • Lead the team with a team- focused attitude with exceptional and proven leadership qualities
  • Ensure all classroom and clinic floor protocols and standards are maintained
  • Maintain service and retail sales to the stated objective
  • Maintain a healthy and positive internal culture that is committed to growth and striving towards company goals
  • Maintain valid California Esthetics and/or Cosmetology License

  • Candidates will posses a current Esthetics/Cosmetology license in the State of California
  • A minimum of 3+ years experience as an esthetician in the salon/spa
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Skilled in team building and creating a co-operative work and learning environment
  • Cultivate a positive experience for each student that leads to student success.
