Licensed Nail Technician

Job description

Polished Beauty Lounge is looking for a Nail Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Provide nail care to patients (e.g. shape nails, polish, acrylic/vacuum/flexible nails, etc.)
• Clean and maintain treatment rooms and work areas;
• Stock and rotate supplies;
• Maintain inventory and ordering;
• Communicate with patients (via phone or email) about orders status and any updates;
• Check in with patients at the start of each shift and provide patients with any instructions or updates (e.g. wait times, availability of technicians, etc.);
• Comply with health and safety regulations (e.g. use appropriate equipment)

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Nail Technician, Esthetician or Cosmetologist;
• Knowledge of Gel-X, Acrylic, Gel, products and techniques;
• Familiarity with equipment and devices;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to operate nail beauty equipment;
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
• Dependability, punctual and reliable with good attendance;
• Positive attitude, great customer service;
• Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of CA State Barbery & Cosmetololgy safety and Infectional Control regulations
